West Core Drilling understands the requirement for accurate targeting of drill holes.

There are many ways to ensure our clients' requirements are met.
As West Core Drilling is a specialist core drilling contractor, we start from the perspective that it is our job to drill a straight hole!

This can be achieved by:

• Working co-operatively with our clients to understand the ground conditions of the Prospect.
• Changing bit and barrel configurations and controlling penetration rates to best suit the ground conditions.

In some instances more is required, for instance if correction is required for pre-collars that have deviated or if multiple intersections are required from one parent hole. In those situations the following may be required:

• Wedging – West Core Drilling has extensive experience in the use of casing and bypass wedges to get holes back on track.
• Navi Drilling – our experienced crews can operate Navi motors to ensure your multiple intersection points are met.
