Small Footprint Drilling

All West Core's LF90s are track-mounted on highly manoeuvrable, robust track bases.

The footprint of these rigs is less than half that of conventional truck-mounted rigs,
allowing us to access areas that would be impossible for larger rigs.

Recent contracts have included:

• Drilling on very small drill pads in the mid-West to minimise clearing in environmentally sensitive areas.
• Drilling on sea cliffs in the south west.
• Accessing very restricted areas in the bottom of pits for grouting and drilling purposes.
• Drilling in areas in the Kimberley and Pilbara that could only be accessed by track-mounted rigs.
